Interiors of course reflect the personality and tastes of the owner. People often ask for an interior shortly before they move, leaving a house into which they have invested much thought and love. This can be a challenge for the artist, - if faced with a room which, for him, has little appeal! Somehow one has to understand and play up the particular atmosphere and character which means so much to the owner. Fortunately the interiors featured here are ones which did very much appeal to me.
